Today, Moshu, a rising star in the electronic music scene, drops his explosive new track "MoshBounce." Known for his innovative approach to production, Moshu blends the intense energy of speedcore with the evolving textures of future riddim, crafting a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking. This release is a testament to his growth as an artist and his commitment to pushing genre boundaries, all while paying homage to an unexpected source of inspiration—Mario Kart music.
From Mario Kart to Speedcore: Crafting the Sound
For Moshu, Mario Kart is more than just a game; it’s a source of musical inspiration. “When I play Mario Kart, I’m drawn to the complexity of the soundtrack. It’s fast-paced, intricate, and it really sets the tone for an exciting race,” he explains.
“With ‘MoshBounce,’ I wanted to capture that same high-energy, adrenaline-fueled feeling and translate it into a track that fuses future riddim and speedcore.”
The result is a frenetic, high-BPM journey that’s as unpredictable and thrilling as racing through Rainbow Road.
Moshu’s musical journey began three years ago, inspired by artists like Marshmello.
“I always admired how Marshmello’s music could light up a room and make people happy. Seeing him give back to the community, especially kids, motivated me to start making music myself,”
Now, Moshu aims to create tracks that resonate with listeners on both an emotional and physical level, with booming drops and rapid beats that get hearts racing.
The Making of "MoshBounce"
Using FL Studio, Moshu meticulously crafted "MoshBounce" with a powerful combination of tools including Fruity Granulizer, Vocoder, Gross Beat, Convolver, Soft Clipper, and his favorite, Serum.
“I start every track with the drop, finding samples I can flip and build around. For ‘MoshBounce,’ I wanted each section to feel like it’s shifting gears, just like in a Mario Kart race,” he explains. The track’s structure is built around sudden tempo changes and unexpected sound design elements, which keep listeners on the edge of their seats.
While speedcore brings the relentless intensity, Moshu’s love for future riddim provides a contrasting layer of melodic sophistication. His use of lush, evolving synths and intricate soundscapes adds depth and emotion to the otherwise aggressive nature of the track.
“I’m a big fan of jazz and R&B, and I try to incorporate those influences into my intros and breakdowns,” Moshu says. “It’s about creating a balance between chaos and beauty.”

In addition to "MoshBounce," Moshu has also contributed to the recently released compilation "Electrostep Network & Friends Presents: Discord Squad Vol. 1." presented by Electrostep Network & Friends. His track "Journey," released on September 24th, showcases his ability to fuse intricate sound design with emotionally charged melodies, further solidifying his place in the electronic music landscape. Overcoming Obstacles and Finding His Sound
Moshu’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Initially met with skepticism and criticism for his genre choices, he considered stepping away from music.
“I faced a lot of negativity early on. People didn’t understand what I was trying to do,” he recalls. “But I realized that everyone has setbacks, and it’s important to keep pushing forward if you believe in what you’re creating.”
Now, Moshu’s persistence is paying off as he carves out a niche in the underground scene, blending speedcore’s blistering tempos with the heavy, experimental nature of future riddim. His goal is to inspire others to embrace their unique sound and not be afraid to mix genres that don’t typically go together.
What’s Next for Moshu?
Looking ahead, Moshu hopes to bring his music to live audiences and share his energy on stage.
“I’d love to play a small concert one day and just see people connect with the music. It’s not just about recognition; it’s about spreading positivity and showing people that you can create something special if you stay true to yourself,” he says.
