Vancouver’s rising EDM sensation BassBruh is back with a bang, releasing his latest track, “Brometheus,” on September 24th through the renowned Electrostep Network. But that's not all—he’s also gearing up for another high-energy release, “Speed Demon,” set to drop on October 28th via Electric Sunshine Cult. Both tracks showcase his relentless drive and unique crossover style that’s shaking up the scene.
“Brometheus” Out Now on Electrostep Network
“Brometheus” is more than just a banger—it’s a tongue-in-cheek nod to the Promethean mythos, with BassBruh standing in for Prometheus himself. Just as the mythic titan defied the gods to bring fire to humanity, BassBruh brings the raw, untamed energy of bass music to fans everywhere. The track blends the hard-hitting elements of trap with the explosive energy of dubstep, packed with massive drops and a pulsating beat that’s guaranteed to set dance floors ablaze.
“Like Prometheus, I wanted to bring something powerful and transformative to the people,” BassBruh explains. “Bass music is that fire—it’s raw, intense, and it can ignite a passion in people. ‘Brometheus’ is my way of delivering that fire to the new generation of bass heads.”
The Anticipation Builds for “Speed Demon”
Following the success of “Brometheus,” BassBruh is gearing up for his next big release, “Speed Demon,” which will drop on October 28th via Electric Sunshine Cult. This track takes his sound to a whole new level, merging trap and speed house into a relentless, adrenaline-fueled anthem.
“Speed Demon” is all about pushing boundaries and living life on the edge. With its 150 BPM tempo in D minor, the track sets a relentless pace, starting with a driving four-on-the-floor beat that transitions into trap-infused madness. Inspired by fast cars, the thrill of speed, and the renegade lifestyle, “Speed Demon” is the ultimate soundtrack for those who live for the rush.
“I wanted this track to feel like a high-speed chase,” BassBruh says. “It’s about that rush of adrenaline and going all out—just like living life on the edge.”
